Teacher

I'm really too lazy to do this properly with pictures and all that shit, and my writing and cognitive skills have waned so much in recent years that trying to sound intelligent is a waste of time because I'm not. So I'll just get right into it:

I'm an urban American teacher. I teach E.S.O.L. English for Speakers of Other Languages. Some of my students are just off the boat, some have been here three or four years and barely speak English at all.

I teach three classes.

My first class is called "Reading and Writing Enrichment." There was no book, no curriculum, no outline, no plan given to me as of yet. I've got an attendance list and some general teaching tips.

My second class is ESOL 1--the lowest level of English. We learn "I am", "You are", regular verbs, common nouns. Etc.

My third class is also ESOL 1. Just to give you an idea, I spent a week on "I am", "You/we/they are", "he/she/it is." And they still haven't mastered it.

I'm just too lazy to continue this...
